The Dark Hedges Film Festival is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Tom Holland’s Fright Night with a screening at the Queen’s Film Theatre on Friday 30th October (9:30pm).
17-year-old Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) is a fan of both traditional horror films and a horror TV series entitled Fright Night, hosted by former movie vampire hunter Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall). One evening, Charley discovers that his new next-door neighbour Jerry Dandrige (Chris Sarandon) is actually a vampire who’s responsible for the disappearances of several local victims.
When no one believes him, Charley decides to get the help of Peter Vincent, to stop Jerry’s killing spree.
So join us at the QFT for this screening of a cult horror classic as part of the festival’s programme just in time for Halloween.
